Mmm. Chocolate.

So, I'm obviously winning with the sheer number of blogs I'm producing compared to Mark. Let's just admit that these are the facts.

I think I'm going to bake some cookies for my faculty commons this afternoon. Yum. Chocolate. :) Today I've been working on a design for our David Leeson promotional project for his speech this Saturday. I've worked and reworked, and I think I'm finally closer to something worth showing.

Since I've been working on my own, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to create great work. This is mainly because I am alone in my design. I've gone from the best community to practically being left to my own senses. (SCARY, huh?!)
Designers desparately need community. If we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, then we can throw off everythng that entagles and run with perseverance. Who can understand the collective mind that governs the aesthetic principles of creation without others?!

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great could of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
