Tuesday!
Well the results are in, and today wasn't wasted! :)
The sleeping change went well, and I kept my 5:30am gym appointment.
Advanced Drawing started and eight, I arrived on time, and I received the assignment for this week. We will be doing four major drawing this month. My first series will be a scratchboard series on balance, order, logic, and counterbalance.
After class, I ran some errands, and I started reading "Don't waste your life" by John Piper. I went to have the engine checked on the car, and found that trip to be unsuccessful, so I plan to go again tomorrow to have the engine looked at by someone different.
Piper refers to C.S. Lewis (one of my favorite Children's Book authors... and an Oxford great) and I am able to read Lewis now from a fresh perspective. I love the way Piper says that Lewis revealed to him that "newness is no virtue and oldness is no vice." Truth and beauty and goodness are not determined by when they exist. HmmmmM!
Love Love,
