Let Freedom Ring
I sit before you today, a woman of change...
-because that is all that will be in my pocket now that I have CUT MY CREDIT CARD UP INTO LITTLE PIECES!
I am so thankful that I am not a slave to that with which I live. I now have built up credit, and I can smile in front of a pile of plastic ruin. *grin*
And now, with freedom, comes great responsibility. Grandpa's words of "just remember not to spend more than you make..." have been good up until now, but it's time to radically live! I have decided to take control of the money I have been given, because it has started to take control of me. Please pray for this transition into an ACTIVE budget... (as my focus turns more towards 'building up treasure in heaven') I hope that God will bless this. He said that He would.
Sigh. This will not be easy- especially with all of the temptations in Abilene. :) There are tempations, you know. Sushi *katrina raises eyebrows with excitement*, a swanky car wash, chocolate soy milk, new exercise music, Ann Thai Kitchen, giving extravagant gifts, juicing up art projects... sigh. Even without these things, I have everything I could ever need! This is a lot considering that MOST of the people in the world don't even have what they need most.
Dollars are good, change is better! :P

Yo - congrats on destroying the consuming devil of our age. Credit cards are probably the cause of lots of divorces, arguments, and larger waist lines. Keep on kickin!!!
